Stacey is an Isle of Wight based photographer specialising in layered, impressionistic images. She uses multiple exposure alongside digital collage to explore and express the mood or impression in the moment of capturing an image. The moment may have been surreal or just interesting, serious or humorous, calm or turbulent, or simply something that felt beautiful. Sometimes the picture can tell a whole story. 

Stacey loves to experiment and is currently exploring combining photography with other media such as handmade paper, glass and printmaking. She is also rediscovering film-based photography, including developing and printing black and white film.

Stacey studied photography for two terms at university, but it wasn’t until 2018 that she decided to pursue photography, first as a hobby, and then professionally. She enjoys exploring multiple exposure through classes where she finds inspiration both from the projects and from the other photographers in the group. Stacey has exhibited in Ventnor, Brill (Oxfordshire) and Stowe-on-the-Wold.
